The Waterloo Regional Block Parent® Program is guided by a dedicated group of volunteers who make up the Board of Directors.

Tara has been with Block Parents since June 2009. As chair she works as a liaison between the Board of Directors, the WRPS, the Boards of Education, School Council and the OBPPI.

 

Vice Chair & Events Coordinator — Craig Mason vicechair@blockparents.ca
Craig Mason

Craig has recently re-joined the Block Parents as Vice Chair and Events Coordinator. The entire block parent team is looking forward to working with Craig once more.

 

 

Treasurer — Adrienne Boone adrienne@blockparents.ca
Adrienne

Adrienne joined the board of Directors in January 2009. Adrienne is responsible for overseeing the bank account and all financial transactions as well as directing the Finance Committee.

 

Education Coordinator — Iain Simpson iain@blockparents.ca
Andrea Lekic

Iain joined Block Parents in January 2009. Since then Iain has been researching new program information on Stranger Danger, Bullying and Safety Tips through WR Police Services. Iain also coordinates  school visits to educate students on the program.
