Waterloo Regional Block Parent® Program
The mission of the Waterloo Regional Block Parent® Program is to provide a network of safe homes and businesses for members of the community to turn to in times of need.
A Block Parent offers assistance to children and other persons in distess, by telephoning the appropriate emergency service (police, fire, ambulance) or family member.
A Block Parent may be called upon to offer their home as a place of safety when someone is in a dangerous or threatening situation.
